02 / Dominant sample
Hexees downsamples the image for speed, groups nearby opaque RGB pixels into deterministic buckets, and lists the most frequent distinct groups. Treat the result as a starting point, not a claim about artistic importance.

Pixel sampling and palette extraction answer different questions. This page keeps their limits visible.

The palette comes from a small opaque sample with four-bit RGB quantization and a minimum distance between chosen colors. It is deterministic, not AI-generated.
Transparent and partly transparent pixels depend on the surface behind them. They are excluded instead of being mislabeled as standalone opaque HEX colors.
